Welcome to the world - Rebecca Amelia - sister to Georgia Kate

 

BORN TODAY: May 25, 2004

WEIGHT:        6 LB  11 ˝ OZ                       

 LENGTH:        50  CM                       

March 31st 2004

"Well I am now 31.5 weeks pregnant and in 9.5 weeks we are going to meet our new little bundle. Give or take when he/she decides to make the grand entrance.  We are very excited, scared and nervous all at once.  This baby is going to bring with it a whole lot of new emotions and it is not going to be easy but we know it is the right thing. 

I can't say it is all easy being pregnant so soon after especially physically.. after all I have been pregnant for nearly 2 years.. and I have had some emotional moments  the closer I get.  We just know that this is right and Georgia is always with us and will always be in our hearts.  And she will be our new babys guardian angel.

We look forward to sharing our news of the birth in the weeks to come and thank everyone for your support so far.  I have posted a piccie of me pregnant at 28 weeks so you can I am growing nicely.

January 12th 2004

This has been one of the best weeks of our lives.  We had a scan with Dr Chris Whight on 8th January at Prince Charles Hospital and all is well with this babies heart.  The relief is enormous. Of course Dr Whight was just lovely as usual.

We had our 19 week routine scan today the 12th January at Royal Women's with Dr Sinnott.  The whole body is wonderful and intact and our baby is beautiful. 

Now all we have to do is wait another 21 weeks!!  And then we can share the news of the birth, and no we did not find out the sex we exercised very strong will power.  Thanks for everyone’s support.  We are very very happy.

And I could not think of a better birthday present as my birthday is tomorrow!!

Now is the time to share our news.  Georgia has truly sent us a gift.  We found out on 26th September that  I am pregnant again and due on 6th June 2004.  This baby is due 12 months and 5 days after Georgia was due so is very special.  I am 12 weeks pregnant and we look forward to sharing our updates with you on our new journey.
